FM Transmitters for use by the Hard-of-Hearing
Note: Dynamic FM Transmitters will not be
available, except in the Inspiro model, until mid-June of 2009. All of
these products are available for sale on our sister site
( www.earlink.com ) and
can be found at the following at this
link.
Dynamic
SmartLink
This is the flagship Dynamic FM Microphone from Phonak. This
microphone includes all of the Dynamic FM features plus a full Array
Microphone providing an Omni-Directional setting (360˚ pickup), a
Directional setting (160˚ pickup) and a focused setting (30˚ pickup).
In addition the SmartLink incorporates BlueTooth (with 2.1 protocols)
and the optional miniBoom or iBoom proximity microphones will work
with this device. One additional feature of the Link class
microphones is the ability of going to the focused array microphone
and using the microphone in the hand as a talking stick. People
quickly learn that they can only talk when the microphone is pointed
at them. This gives the hearing aid wearer a great method of
politely control
This is an excellent choice for a business class FM microphone as the
updated protocols allow connection into a BlueTooth Hub and the
proximity microphone allows for professional grade voice quality when
using BlueTooth.

Dynamic
ZoomLink
The Dynamic ZoomLink includes all of the features of the SmartLink
except for the BlueTooth and Remote Control features. This is
our most popular wireless microphone and if BlueTooth is not a concern
now or in the foreseeable future then this is your best choice. |

Dynamic
EasyLink
The Dynamic EasyLink includes all of the features of Dynamic FM with
the fixed directional (160˚ pickup). This is a good microphone
for people with more limited funds and not as activate a lifestyle
where the array microphone technology would not be of that big of
benefit. |

TelCom
(Discontinued 2010)
The TelCom is designed to connect into your home television and your
residencal telephone line. The FM transmitter will transmit to
any of the MicroLink FM receivers. When you are listening to
your television or stereo and the phone rings you will hear the phone
ringing in your hearing aids. When you pick the telephone up the
television will be muted and the telephone conversation will be
transmitted directly into your FM MicroLink receivers and into your
personal hearing aids. When you hang the phone up the television
