Phonak's "CORE Collection"

This line of hearing instruments, built on the newly released CORE computing platform, features the newest digital hearing platform and incorporates Phonak's new digital induction technology across the entire platform's product lines.  The iCom and MyPilot now work with the Premium, Advanced and Basic levels of technology in the CORE platform line.  For the first time a manufacturer has provided both Bluetooth and remote control from the pinnacle level to the basic level of their product line.  This provides a broad spectrum of instruments to meet almost everybody's budget.  Only at the entry and economy level of hearing instruments is much of the CORE Platform features not being included.

SoundRecover

What it does: The Phonak proprietary algorithm designed to compress and shift high frequencies into an adjacent area of audible hearing.  Frequencies below the kneepoint are not compressed or altered in any way.   This unique approach enables high-frequency information to be compressed with minimal artifacts.  High-pitched sounds like children's voices, birdsong and alarm clocks become audible again and the understanding of speech is greatly improved.  SoundRecover is of great benefit for wearers with all degrees of hearing loss.

What this means: This enables wearers to once again enjoy all the sounds of life: conversation in a restaurant, children singing and laughing, music and the whisper of a loved one to name a few.  Nearly 90% of users indicate that SoundRecover is the most important feature of their new Phonak.  This exclusive innovation is key to client satisfaction.  Now SoundRecover is available for all audiometric configurations from the Premium technology level through the Advanced technology level and into the Basic technology level.  Only in the Entry and Economy levels of technology is SoundRecover not found.

Convenient and intuitive Phonak interface options provide clients with unlimited access to the ever-expanding world of communication.  It is now easy to enjoy a favorite TV program, the voice of a loved one on the phone, a great song from an MP3 player and much more.  Phonak now offers you the freedom of wireless connectivity throughout much of the CORE Technology product line.  Only at the Entry and Economy levels is it not available.

  • Having full control over hearing systems at all times gives confidence in daily life.  myPilot is an advanced remote control that offers one-touch binaural program and volume level control.  The new menu with direct control makes the myPilot command center easy to handle and it will even tell you how the batteries are in your hearing aids.
• iCom - the communication interface
  • The iCom is a wireless interface device that incorporates BlueTooth input, FM input and direct audio input and feeds the sound directly into both hearing instruments so you get to hear using both ears and the whole brain.
  • iCom connects wirelessly to telephones, TV, MP3 players, FM, computers and more.  The hearing systems will function as a wireless headset allowing the wearer to benefit from hands-free functionality.  (Allows the user to comply with Oregon State law regarding hands-free cell phone use while driving.)  iCom e3sxcels with full stereo sound in interference-free, digital quality.
